My Real Name

My name is Carter and I talk about books about butts. 

Well, not just about butts, but that's a big part of it. For the past few years, I've been studying and critically discussing queer romance (specifically MM romance) with like-minded people on the internet.

My tastes are broad and deep -- there's hardly any genre or sub-genre I won't try at least once or twice or thrice... And for this project, I plan to read as many popular and influential MM romances books as I can, break them down, and invite the community to discuss and analyze.

But more than anything, I care deeply about the MM romance genre and its future. I want to see new, indie, and emerging authors push the boundaries and thrive. That’s why I joined Bindery: with the hope that if we build a big enough, smart enough, and sexy enough community, we can grow into an official Bindery imprint and start publishing the queer books we want to read.

As for personal stuff, I live in the DMV area, I have a day job in data and technology (basically a professional nerd), and am engaged to a wonderful guy who nerds out video games while I'm nerding out about romance books. Let's build something smart, queer, and joyful together.
